Pink Pique Cotton Shirt - Mawimbi

This season we are proud to present the new Mawimbi (meaning 'waves' in Swahili) collection, which the detailing is inspired by the tropical, white sandy beaches and turquoise seas from the Kenyan coast. This colour palate has enabled us to launch a more subtle, yet still unique and eye-catching range of clothing.

This is a cutaway collar, pale pink pique cotton shirt with subtle touches of blue and white mottled Kenyan Kikoy fabric inside the collar, under the cuffs and on the side slits (gusset). The pique cotton fabric used bridges the gap between a polo shirt and an Oxford cotton shirt. This is a very soft shirt with a light stretch, which provides extra comfort.

The stretch also allows you to pull up the cuffs to a comfortable level on your forearm to show off the Kikoy detailing.

This shirt paired with our new Mawimbi blue & white mottled striped blazer is a winning combination to set the tone for the new season.

We have worked very hard on achieving the perfect balance of light, soft and stretch to keep you cool and comfortable this spring summer season.

This shirt works as both a laidback holiday shirt, a relaxed weekend shirt or alternatively a smart casual shirt to wear in the city or out and about.

With a new collection brings a new community project, with 5% of all our Mawimbi product sales going towards supporting marine life off the coast of Kenya through Eco World Recycling projects.
